Before the project, we used to face a lot of challenges in the settlement, food was a challenge, seeing cash money was hard, everything was a challenge. But after the project, we formed a group where we support each other especially where a group member has a family challenge, we gather together and support such.

Before the Here is life and Samarita Purse came to our community, we used to dig small area of land mostly for consumption, but after when they gave us the training, we able to increase land size, spray and manure the crops and even sale in the market for money.

I used to focused on family work and selling farm produce due to my husband’s restrictions. During ICCMP trainings, I receive 15,000 as transport refund. I invested this in turkey eggs, leading to the hatching of 5 chicks which I sold and started a business of selling sugar and dry fish, resulting in a daily income of 20,000. This increased and I purchased 2 acres of land. My husband recognized the training’s impact and was happy with the change in our family.

Emmanuel Chandiga Beneficiary – ICCMP

In the October 2021 training by ICCMP, I was the first to embrace the School of Mission. After completing six months in Koboko, I returned to work with the church as a regular Christian. My transformative lead me to be ordained as a deacon. I’m encouraging the youth to prioritize learning and embracing Jesus for a righteous path.
