Here Is Life is a faith-based Organization founded in 1988 out of deep concern about the high rates of poverty, ignorance, illiteracy, hunger, mistrust, and diseases that prevailed and continue to prevail in Yumbe District in West Nile in Northern Uganda.
We desire to see communities live and work together despite their religious, political, social, and economic differences. We are moved by the desire to enrich every aspect of a person’s life, inspired by the Gospel’s transformative power. Our mission is to bring a whole life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—to everyone through the teachings of Christ, holistic community development, and sustainable empowerment.
