IYDP

Empowering Youth Through Integrated Development

This is an initiative supported by Co-Workers from Germany, Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church from North Carolina, and First Fruits from the USA. The project, aimed at nurturing the youth to know, love, trust, and serve God, which has made substantial progress in its activities and impact.

 

Project Support and Objectives

The generous support from various organizations has enabled the implementation of the project, including travel expenses, sports equipment for youth, production of the 4-book series on Knowing God, Loving God, Trusting God, and Serving God, as well as the construction of a computer laboratory and the purchase of computers. The primary goal of the project is to equip the youth with the knowledge and skills to reach out to their peers, including Muslim youth, both within and outside the church, fostering spiritual growth, discipleship, and the establishment of new churches.

Milestones and Impact

The strategic approach of combining bible studies and sports activities has proven to be highly effective in engaging the youth. The introduction of bible studies has not only attracted young individuals who were previously disengaged with church activities but has also drawn interest from mature members within the church. Notably, this has prompted active participation of mature youth who had withdrawn in their faith in the program.

Reaching Muslim Youth

The inclusive nature of the project has extended its influence to Muslim youth, some of whom have been attracted to join the bible studies and have even committed their lives to Christ. This significant outreach has contributed to the establishment of 30 bible study groups, marking a notable achievement within the 2021-2022 timeframe and emphasizing the project’s success in fostering inclusivity and spiritual growth across different segments of the youth population.

As the project continues to unfold, we remains committed to empowering the youth, fostering spiritual growth, and nurturing a generation equipped to spread the message of love, faith, and service to their peers and communities.
