Water for production

The primary objective of the “Water for Production Project” is to enhance household food security and improve the livelihoods of both refugees and host communities in Bidibidi. This intervention creates empowerment, sustainability, and community development. The project builds upon the achievements and lessons learned from the initial phase, ensuring a more profound impact on the lives of those it serves.

Bible Translation

Christians in Aringa faced challenges understanding the Bible translated into the local language, leading to a limited knowledge of Christ. Concerned about this, Mr. Isaac Anguyo and a team from SIL discussed language translation possibilities. In 1988, the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL) conducted a survey indicating that the Aringa dialect is 75% distinct from the Lugbara Vernacular.

Voice of life fm

We are operating in various regions of Uganda through our local radio station Voice of Life FM, which is dedicated to providing community transformation services in local churches, communities, and refugee hosting districts. This includes areas such as Yumbe, Moyo, Adjumani, Obongi, and Madi Okollo. The station emphasizes community engagement, taking the message of the gospel to local churches in West Nile.

The Integrated Youth Development Project (I.Y.D.P), with support from German Co-Workers, Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church from North Carolina, and First Fruits from the USA, aims to nurture the spiritual growth of youth. The project includes various components such as constructing a computer laboratory, providing sports equipment, and producing a four-book series titled Knowing God, Loving God, Trusting God, and Serving God.

The Integrated Church and Community Mobilization Process (ICCM) is a program designed to empower churches and communities to identify their potential, plan for their development, and evaluate their progress. ICCMP uses visioning to help communities define their situation and envision their future, and then strategize how to achieve their goals. It involves community description, information gathering, analysis, and priority setting to address important issues. Additionally, ICCMP focuses on helping the church understand its role as a catalyst for holistic community transformation by mobilizing the community for necessary changes.
